Grass Fed Beef = Cowboys

As more and more Grass Fed Beef is being grown, keeping these cows in line requires more of what America is know for; Cowboys. Who doesn’t wanna be a cowboy?

It is good news that customers' concerns for their health are also promoting the creation of jobs that are healthier to do than working at a manure filled feed lot. Where would you rather work? Out on the American Prarie or in a stinking feed lot.

I helped out as a cowboy on a ranch one summer. It is quiet the experience. You get a lot of good clean air, excersice, a good looking farmer tan, and good heathly meat on the table for dinner. Consumers may pay a bit more for their healthy, free-range beef, but what they pay for is not just their health; no, it's also that of everyone involved in raising this beautiful healthy meat.
Cowboys and Grass Fed Beef Making Comebacks!
By Bobby Tall Horse, published Mar 07, 2008
Consumers have spoken with their wallets in the last few years. Even though grass fed beef costs a bit more, they are willing to spend the money for what they believe is a safer meat product. And they're right.
Cattle that have been raised in feed lots are at least 58% more likely to be carrying a disease called campylobacter. This bacteria can cause fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache and muscle pain when consumed. Pasture raised cattle fed grass and hay do not seem to be bothered by this bacteria.
Cowboys raising grass fed beef had become more or less obsolete. In Arizona, ranchers are looking for cowboys again. They will raise them the traditional way. The cowboys will herd the cattle and move the cattle, instead of merely shooting them up with vaccinations and hormones and wormers and leaving them in feed lots.

Pasture-ized meat

So, why might you want to feed this, rather than the grain-fed variety, to your family? “Grass-fed beef tends to be lower in fat and calories, with a higher percentage of essential fatty acids—the good fats,” says Lisa Young, Ph.D., RD, a nutrition consultant and adjunct professor at New York University. Cows that eat grass store more omega-3s (the same fatty acids as in fish, but without the risk of mercury) and conjugated linoleic acids (CLAs), both of which are believed to reduce the risk of cancer. Grass-fed beef also poses little risk of mad cow disease, because the beasts never ingested any animal by-products (a concern with grain-fed cows).
Before you alter your shopping list, be aware that the USDA’s “grass-fed” label doesn’t guarantee that meat is certified organic—that is, from cows raised on 100 percent organic feed, without hormones or antibiotics.

Beef Sup'Herb - Healthy Beef for Healthy Bodies

The food industry gives us reasons to be afraid of what we eat. Beef Lovers have their fair share or reasons to be afraid of what comes from their local supermarket. The Humane Society of the United States recently released an undercover video that shows downed cows being tormented in a Southern California slaughter plant. Those cows are so sick that some of them don't have the power to even walk. The video shows forklifts pushing these downed cows, occasionally even running over them. It is not surprising that this kind of news makes beef lovers alarmed and gives them reason to be concerned for their health and that of their families.

Many Beef Lovers started and are still looking for healthy alternatives that satisfy their desire for meat. There's a big trend toward Grass Fed
Beef as people are seaching for healthier options.

Grass Fed Beef is more than just an alternative. Grass Fed Beef has No Growth Hormones, No Antibiotics, No Preservatives, Higher Levels of Omega 3's & CLA's, Less Fat, Fewer Calories and Lower Cholesterol.

Beef Sup'Herb L.L.C. will be located in the State of Utah. Beef Sup'Herb will be a casual place to eat (or purchase for home use) healthy Grass Fed Beef and Certified Organic Vegetables.
